Place seems like a hole in the wall, but trust me, you will want to eat here, it's is the best BBQ I have ever had and im sure it will be the best for you too. The beer cheese anything is amazing, and the brisket is melt in your mouth moist.

I got the 2 meat plate with ribs and double smoked brisket. Mac and cheese was really good, and the green beans were good. The brisket fell apart like a roast that had been in the crockpot for hours. It was juicy, and fatty and wonderful. It was so good, I ate the fat too. The ribs had this nice dry rub and their selection of sauces is really good. I think they have 6 or 7. Beware of the Vinegar. It's good but it'll splash you if you're not careful when shaking it to mix it up, but try them all!! If I was forced to complain about anything my only complaint would be that the green beans tasted like they were from a can and not fresh, and I wished there was a little bacon in there for more depth of flavor, but that's really the only thing, and not worth taking a star away. I mean, it's BBQ you're not going there for the green beans. Lol

Great experience! Ordered two meat two side combo to split: Double smoked brisket, ribs, baked beans, beer cheese grits, an additional corn pudding, banana pudding and Stella Artois for a total of only 30. The sides were phenomenal! They even gave me a marker to mark the ceiling.

So glad we found this great lunch spot when leaving horse show! Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. When you walk in you will be greeted with an amazing smell and a packed establishment. This place is a BBQ gem.

I stop here every time I am in Kentucky. This is some of the best BBQ that I've had, and it's been consistent for over a decade since I first went. Don't let the location fool you - this place is an amazing value and the food will absolutely be worth it.

Really enjoyed everything I had here. Nice BBQ menu and decent selection of beer and other drinks. Ordered the brisket at the counter with baked beans and mac and cheese (2 sides came with the meal). Order was called out for pick up in about 10 minutes and sat at one of the tables that had about 8 different kinds of BBQ sauces. Everything was delicious and the portions definitely filled me up. Brisket was cut into chunks, not sure if they would slice it for you. Pick your favorite sauce and have at it! This isn’t fine dining, so come as you are. Walls and ceilings are covered with the names of visitors, so that was fun. Will be back if in the area again. Didn’t take a picture since I ate my food so fast!

So good. So good. So good. We love everything we got and are already making plans to come back. Everything you want in a BBQ joint. Dive location. Lots of atmosphere. And unbelievably good food. Bonus--friendly prices, too. Highly recommend.

Friendly service, warm and inviting atmosphere, and great BBQ meats & sides. I had a half rack of ribs with cheesy grits and slaw this weekend while down in Kentucky for the Derby. First of all, the cheesy grits were the best side I've ever had at a BBQ spot. The ribs had a great smoke flavor. They were unsauced, which is great because they have a great selection of house sauces at the table, and each sauce was amazing. I used a different sauce for each rib. I like a variety of BBQ sauce flavors, and they did it right from Alabama white sauce, to spicy, to KC brown sugar style. Slaw was excellent as well.
